Baby Clothes and Size Charts

I, like several moms I know, crave organization, yet rarely accomplish it.  Things are definitely easier when there is no baby.  So when i was pregnant with Cooper, I accomplished organization while waiting for his arrival.  I went through all the clothes we had gotten and organized them according to sizes and put them in bins (with labels on the front).  I was really proud of myself!
However, once Cooper came, I quickly realized the flaw to my perfect plan.  Baby clothes brands vary with their sizes, and Cooper was a big boy growing very fast.  I actually missed a couple of outfits becuase I had them in the 3-6 month bin and it was comparable to 0-3 month clothing.  So I have a fix and a recommendation to all  who want to try this method.
Organize clothes by size still and put in the bins, but keep on hand a size chart for the brands you have so you know when to pull "such and such" brand clothing out.  I had washed most of the clothes before hand or a lot with tags, didn't include the size chart.  I had an extremely difficult time finding the size charts online so I hope to have a decent collection on here for other moms-to-be.  I will update as I get/find more information.

Pinterest Recipe: Crock Pot Beef and Broccoli

Crock Pot Beef and Broccoli

This was sooooooo good!  My husband isn't a fan of Chinese food, but he liked this!  When I made it it cooked a little too long, so I'll adjust the cooking time when I make it next.  http://www.bsrecipe.blogspot.com/2012/04/crock-pot-beef-and-broccoli.html

Pinterest Recipe: Creamy Garlic Pasta

Another pinner said: Creamy garlic pasta! I made this tonight and it was the tastiest thing I have ever put in my mouth. Who needs to spend money at Olive Garden? This is just as good if not better.

I wouldn't compare this recipe to olive garden, but I would say it's a healthier version of a box of pasta-roni.

Pinterest Recipe: Grilled Cheese Rolls

Grilled Cheese Rolls, perfect to pair with tomato soup and SO EASY to make with slices of bread and cheese.

This was a unique and cool idea.  We love grilled cheese in my house, so this was definitely worth the try.  I personally am not a fan of american "plastic" cheese, so I used cheddar cheese when making this.  After trying the recipe I have the following tip: American cheese would work best, but if using cheddar cheese, be sure to have it softened some or use thin slices.  http://dainty-chef.com/2012/10/grilled-cheese-rolls.html

Cooper Week 37

11-10-12
Cooper met a lot of the Nicolich side of the family this day.  He met is Great Grandma Carole for the first time.

11-11-12
Brian couldn't resist snapping a pic of Cooper looking cute in the shopping cart.

11-13-12
I have been waiting for a long time to see this happen.  Cooper had his first swim lesson at the Puyallup High School Pool.  Brian got in the first night, but I've been going now too.

Cooper Week 36

11-3-12
Cooper NEVER falls asleep in our arms, so this was a rare, but very precious moment.

11-4-12
I know it's hard to see, but there are TWO teeth on the bottom.  Happy 8 months!

Cooper Week 35

10-30-12
We had a costume party at our Multicare Mom & Baby Support Group. Do babies get any cuter than this?

10-31-12
Happy Halloween!  Cooper likes to greet his dad at the window when he gets the chance.  We went trick-or-treating in Grandma MaryAnn's neighborhood with Cousin Ivy.
